Acetaia 1975 guided tour

Acetaia 1975 is one of our acetaia (literally: ageing rooms) opened to public tours. It’s located on the ground floor, facing the beautiful Piazza Roma square. This Acetaia contains a collection of wooden barrels dated 1975 made in Modena by the famous cooper Renzi for La Vecchia Dispensa.
During this tour you can discover the main steps in the production of Balsamic Vinegar and the history of this amazing product. The Acetaia 1975 guided tour offers you the opportunity to learn about the traditional production with a special focus on the modern production too.

This guided tour includes a wonderful guided tasting of 5 different Balsamic Vinegars. The tasting is done using ceramic spoons, and it’s conducted by our Balsamic Vinegar professional tasters.
